Welcome to the Sink A Long One Golf Society.
The SALO Golf Society is a group of enthusiastic golfers, some good and some not so good but all with a love of the game and interested in the friendship and camaraderie that comes with the sport. The Society has been in existence for the last 14 years playing three to four tournaments a year culminating in the highly competitive 'Real Ryder Cup' competition which pits the best players from the South West against the best of London. There are no membership fees, no joining fees, you just turn up and pay your green fees. We always try to play on courses that everyone can afford and always have mixed format weekend tournaments. |

Gentlemen Happy new year and all that. REAL RYDER CUP 13-14 September (to be organised by winning Captain JC) PLEASE PUT THEM IN YOUR DIARY NOW The feedback from last year has generally been positive - people like the SALO Fridays and we averaged 18 attendees for these events which I think is great. It was a pity we could not get enough people for the overseas - would be great if we can get 8 for this in 2008. The Ryder Cup at the Rolls was successful from a West perspective and precipitated the resignation of Page. We await news of his replacement.
